Schedule: Monday–Friday

Hours: 1:30 PM–5:30 PM

Compensation: $40–$50 per hour

Additional Benefits: Family car provided for all work-related driving. Paid time off and holidays can be discussed for the right long-term fit.

A busy family in Katonah, NY is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and trustworthy Family/Household Assistant to help manage household organization, errands, simple meal prep, children’s items, and light after-school support.

This is a household-first role, not a nanny role, but the ideal candidate should be comfortable around children and willing to assist with light supervision, snacks, activity prep, and occasional driving when needed. The family is looking for a self-starter who notices what needs to be done, communicates clearly, and takes pride in helping a busy home run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily household management and organization.
• Handle groceries, errands, returns, and household supply restocking.
• Maintain kitchen, pantry, and household organization systems.
• Assist with simple dinner prep and lunchbox systems.
• Manage laundry and children’s clothing organization.
• Prepare and organize backpacks, activity bags, sports gear, and school-related items.
• Complete general household resets to keep the home tidy and organized.
• Coordinate with vendors occasionally as needed.
• Assist with light after-school support, including snacks, activity preparation, occasional driving/carpool, and light supervision when needed.
• Use the family car for work-related driving.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of housekeeping experience in a private home, luxury residence, estate, or similar environment.
• Experience working in UHNW homes is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience working as part of a housekeeping team is highly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.
