Shift Supervisor - Burger King

Job Title

Oversee daily operations of a Burger King shift, ensuring smooth service, high-quality food, and a positive customer experience, while leading and motivating a team.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and train team members on Burger King policies and procedures, including food preparation, safety, and customer service.
• Manage cash handling, including opening and closing registers, processing transactions, and reconciling daily sales.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and receive deliveries to maintain adequate stock.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
• Delegate tasks and manage workflow to optimize efficiency during busy periods.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing shift reports and monitoring labor costs.
• Assist with food preparation, order taking, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Enforce company policies and procedures among staff.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a fast-food or restaurant environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic math skills and experience with cash handling.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
