We're looking for a Senior Business Development Rep to help expand SHIELD's presence in laboratory, pharmacy, and commercial markets-selling a tangible, design-driven product used by some of the most recognized brands in sports and healthcare. About SHIELD SHIELD is a Kansas City-based manufacturer designing and building high-end locker and storage solutions for professional sports teams (NBA, NFL, NCAA) and leading pharmacy systems across the U.S. As an employee-owned (ESOP) company, our team shares directly in the success we create. Why This Role This is not a typical sales role. You'll be driving new business in specialized environments like laboratories, pharmacies, and commercial facilities, working closely with leadership to help shape how we grow in emerging verticals like lab and pharmacy. What You'll Do

You'll be driving new business in specialized environments like laboratories, pharmacies, and commercial facilities, working closely with leadership to help shape how we grow in emerging verticals like lab and pharmacy. What You'll Do
- Drive new business across laboratory, pharmacy, healthcare, and commercial markets
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Engage decision-makers including lab managers, facility leaders, and executives
- Build and manage pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and industry events
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams on go-to-market strategy
- Represent SHIELD at client meetings, presentations, and trade shows
- 3-7+ years of sales or business development experience
- Experience selling into laboratory, pharmacy, or commercial environments preferred
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter who can build pipeline and drive results
- Experience with architectural products, interiors, or design-driven solutions
- Familiarity with lab or pharmacy facility environments

- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Employee must be able to talk and hear
