Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated ER RN for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role involves working in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment, providing critical care to patients with a variety of acute health conditions. The position is suited for a skilled nurse with experience in the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities of the ER RN

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to combined adult and pediatric patients
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Perform phlebotomy and start IVs, including continuous IV sedation and paralytics
• Administer blood products and manage central line care
• Handle emergency medications and procedural sedation
• Conduct isolation precautions and apply/provide emergency care for CVA
• Float as required when census warrants

Requirements of the ER RN

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system preferred
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement
