Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an IMC/Progressive Care position requiring compact RN licensure and CRRT experience.

Details

• Work in a 20-bed high acuity Intermediate Care (IMC) Cardiovascular Unit within a hospital setting
• Care for critically ill cardiovascular patients requiring continuous monitoring
• Uses advanced medical equipment including ventilators and cardiac monitors
• Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
• 13-week assignment length
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals on individualized care plans

Requirements

• Active Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CRRT experience required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Willingness to precept

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients continuously, recognizing and responding promptly to changes in condition or emergencies
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments accurately per physician orders
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient status and nursing interventions
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Follow strict infection control protocols
• Participate in continuing education to maintain clinical skills
• Join a supportive team environment with strong working relationships across the hospital
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
