Operator drives and operates truck-mounted cranes to lift and transport materials to precise locations.
Operator will follow strict OSHA guidelines, evaluate ground stability, and ensure the crane is properly balanced using outriggers. Conduct thorough daily and pre-operational checks on wire ropes, hydraulic systems, and controls. Utilize manufacter load charts to determine safe lifting capacities, factoring in the weight of materials, angles, and enviornmental conditions. Communicate directly with riggers and signal persons to ensure loads are safely rigged, balanced, maneuvered. Operator must have a valid commerical class b drivers license with a clean driving record.
