Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one (1) year recent Operating Room nursing experience
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong grasp of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures
• Effective communication skills and adaptability within a fast-paced clinical setting
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Circulate and assist during a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to all safety and sterile protocols
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
• Assess patients preoperatively, providing support and education as needed
• Administer medication and monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of intraoperative care
• Participate in post-operative patient handoff and contribute to unit improvement initiatives
