Description: The lab is requesting two positions for a 7 on/7 off night schedule. The shifts are from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Wednesday through Saturday, and from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Tuesday. It is for a generalist role that includes blood bank experience. Local candidates will not be considered; candidates must have travel experience. Candidates should have experience with diverse laboratory skills including accessioning, hormone testing, and quality assurance controls. Candidates will be responsible for proper labeling and disposal of specimens. Knowledge of various testing methodologies including automated instrument use, immunoassay, and microscopic analysis is essential. The role requires the ability to report test results accurately and interpret quality controls. Candidates must also be familiar with hazardous materials and safety protocols. Flexibility to float within the hospital is required as needed. Candidates must be willing to adhere to precautions for infection control.
