AVP, Claim Field Finance and Workforce Operations

Compensation Overview Annual base salary range: $146,400.00 – $241,600.00. The actual salary will be determined by role scope, complexity, location, qualifications, and experience. Employees are also eligible for performance‑based cash incentive awards. What Is the Opportunity? As an AVP, Financial Analysis, you will lead the creation and presentation of financial reports across multiple business areas, driving strategy and innovation with a focus on AI and data‑driven insights. What Will You Do? Ensure all reports, exhibits and presentations are accurate, impactful, and clear. Drive financial and operational reporting analysis of high complexity. Identify gaps in data sets and recommend alternatives. Present findings and actionable recommendations to senior management through formal presentations, monthly results, etc. Lead the financial analysis to drive business strategy for supported organizations. Review competitor releases, SEC filings and industry trade press for insights. Coordinate implementation of financial regulatory changes such as reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions. Provide coaching, training and mentoring; oversee performance management and development of team members. Perform additional duties as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Master’s in Business Administration focused on finance or accounting; professional designations such as CPA, CMA or comparable advanced education. Extensive experience with financial analysis concepts, principles, processes and accounting practices, preferably with exposure to the P&C insurance industry. Exceptional communication, collaboration, influencing skills; ability to present complex information to senior leaders and partners. A proven leadership track record; respected, highly organized, able to mentor, coach and develop team members while strategically aligning resources. Advanced data‑analysis skills with ability to interpret trends and report actionable insights. Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and delegate tasks. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and financial reporting software (TM1, Essbase, Hyperion). Strong business acumen, critical thinking and strategic operational abilities. Must Have Eight years of finance, financial planning, accounting or related experience. Previous management experience.
