Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Registered Nurse License in Indiana Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery - Proficient in cervical exams and fetal monitor interpretation Description: The position involves the care of laboring, pre-term, postpartum OB patients, and newborns. Responsibilities include managing vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and neonatal resuscitation. Candidates must be comfortable with equipment such as EPIC documentation, Pyxis medication management, and GE Corometric fetal monitoring. Nurses will work a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. Orientation is mandatory and consists of 8-hour sessions. The nurse-to-patient ratio is currently unknown. Caribbean blue scrubs are required for the position. Please note that the position may require floating to other units or departments. Weekend shifts may be necessary. Candidates can be called off up to 24 hours for every 13-week assignment.
