Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity serving students in the east and southern region of a North Carolina district for the upcoming school year. This full-time role seeks four Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a difference in educational settings. Supported supervision is available for Clinical Fellows; unfortunately, SLPA candidates cannot be considered for this position.

The assignment begins in mid-August and runs through early June, with schedules averaging between 35 and 37.5 hours weekly. The district offers flexibility in caseload assignment to match your interests and expertise, and collaborative discussions during the interview process will help align responsibilities with your strengths. Caseloads will not exceed 35 students, allowing for focused, quality intervention.

Preferred candidates will bring experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorders and low cognitive disabilities, helping the district meet the diverse needs of their student population.

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina SLP license required
• CCC strongly preferred (SLP-CF considered with district supervision)
• Familiarity with school-based caseloads and IEP processes
• Experience with Autism and low cognitive disabilities is advantageous
• Ability to adapt and collaborate in a school-based team setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and deliver speech and language therapy for students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain documentation consistent with district and state regulations
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment for all learners
