Package Delivery Driver

A package delivery driver is responsible for transporting parcels safely and on time within assigned routes in Staten Island. Daily work typically includes loading and unloading packages, planning efficient stops, scanning deliveries, obtaining proof of delivery when required, and communicating professionally with dispatch or customers when issues arise. The position calls for careful handling of items, attention to traffic laws, and basic recordkeeping related to completed routes and undelivered packages. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to follow route instructions accurately. Experience driving in city traffic and navigating residential and commercial areas is helpful. Strong customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills are important for this role. Physical demands may include frequent entering and exiting the vehicle, lifting and carrying packages of varying sizes, and working in different weather conditions. This is a full-time position with a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and other variable route times depending on delivery volume.
