Warehouse Order Picker (Sit-Down Forklift Operator)We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Warehouse Order Picker / Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately pulling orders, staging merchandise, and safely operating sit-down forklifts to ensure smooth inbound and outbound material movement.Pay Rate: $16.00 / hourShift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PMPosition Type: Full-TimeKey Responsibilities:Operate sit-down forklifts to pick, stage, load, and unload palletized goods throughout the warehouse.Accurately pull customer orders according to pick sheets and Warehouse Management System (WMS) instructions.Transport materials safely to designated shipping, receiving, or staging areas.Perform pre-shift equipment safety inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.Conduct inventory verification, quality checks, and cycle counts as needed to maintain high stock accuracy.Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety rules, OSHA standards, and company procedures.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, keeping aisles and staging bays free of hazards.Qualifications & Requirements:Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Skills: Strong order picking, staging, and inventory tracking abilities. Experience with RF scanners and WMS preferred.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit for extended periods during shift, and work comfortably in an active distribution center.Punctuality: Strong attendance record and ability to consistently work the 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM shift.Safety Mindset: Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse safety guidelines and proper material handling techniques.Benefits:Weekly Pay ($16.00/hr)Consistent Monday–Friday day shift (Weekends off)Opportunity for overtime depending on volumeCollaborative, team-oriented work culture
