Join an established healthcare facility in Warren, Ohio, as a locum tenens physician specializing in obstetrics. You'll be providing crucial coverage in a labor and delivery unit with an opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals. The position requires comprehensive obstetric care including delivery and gynecology procedures, with a focus on both low and high-risk pregnancies. A flexible schedule is available with regular hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and on-call support for midwives during night shifts.

• Manage labor and delivery cases, including routine and complicated deliveries such as C-sections and VBACs
• Handle gynecological surgical procedures including laparoscopic diagnostics
• Provide emergency gynecology care for unassigned patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and CNMs

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrician
• Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain one
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification required
• Self-query NPDB report required within 30 days of application

• Primary hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call support: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for midwife coverage

• Proficiency in managing both low and high-risk pregnancies
• Skilled in a variety of obstetrics procedures including routine delivery and surgical interventions
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment
