Warehouse Technician I

A Day in the Life of the Warehouse Technician I:

• General warehouse and distribution support
  
• Prepare and complete orders for pickup or shipping
  
• Receive and process CPE/warehouse stock and other miscellaneous deliveries; cleaning and prepare equipment
  
• Perform warehouse inventory controls
  
• Warehouse reports
  
• Testing/staging equipment
  
• Retail equipment
  
• Adhere to and follow safety protocols
  
• Other duties as assigned
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Experience: 0 years
  
• Maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to bend and lift materials up to 75 lbs from floor level to a height of 6 feet to place them on shelves or on and off vehicles
  
• Work performed in both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled environments, with potential exposure to heat, cold, dust, damp conditions, uneven surfaces, heights, and moving vehicles
  
• Prolonged standing (50-70% of the time), walking, sitting, and driving required
  
• Ability to safely climb and work from ladders for extended periods of time
  
• Frequent reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs and ladders, and using hands above and below shoulder level
  
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, crawl, and maintain various body positions and perform fine motor tasks, forceful gripping (Ability to work with small components and wires to make cable connections), and limited keyboarding
  
• Vision ability: close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus and Ability to differentiate between sizes and colors of wires

The base pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.50 per hour, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Texas and may not be applicable to other locations.
