Qualified applicants who successfully complete our hiring process and meet all New York State and agency requirements will be considered for available client assignments as they become available based on client needs, scheduling, qualifications, and geographic location.ResponsibilitiesProvide compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance.Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.Prompt and remind clients to take prescribed medications.Prepare meals and assist with feeding when appropriate.Assist with prescribed exercises and activities of daily living.Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and community outings when appropriate.Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.Observe and report changes in a client's condition to the supervising agency.Respond appropriately in emergency situations.Provide companionship while promoting each client's dignity, independence, and quality of life.QualificationsCurrent New York State HHA or PCA Certification.Must meet all New York State and agency employment requirements.Minimum one (1) year of experience in home care, healthcare, hospitality, or a related caregiving field preferred.Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional care.Ability to work independently and follow an individualized Plan of Care.Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform essential job functions.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts, as client assignments require.Hoyer Lift experience preferred for applicable client assignments.Compensation & BenefitsStarting at $25.00 per hourWeekly payrollFlexible schedulingOpportunities for ongoing client assignmentsSupportive management teamOngoing education and professional developmentApply online today or call View phone number on click.appcast.io for more information.East End Home Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
