SUMMARY

The Outreach and Enrollment Coordinator will work one-on-one with families and individuals to provide information regarding HealthSource RI, the qualified health plans (QHPs) and publicly funded insurance. This position will explain the options available, and directly assist with the application/enrollment process through HealthSource RI. The Outreach and Enrollment Coordinator will work to ensure all individuals have access to health insurance coverage provided as a result of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). In addition, this position will support the patient engagement activities performed by the department.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Minimum of an Associate’s degree preferred At least 3 years’ experience with a health and human services infrastructure, health insurance programs and public coverage options At least 3 years’ experience working with vulnerable populations in a medical, or similar, setting preferred A combination of education and experience considered

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
