Patient Care Technician (PCT)DaVita is hiring a full-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment!Some details about this position:No prior Dialysis experience is required!Complete a full-time, fully paid training program for 10 weeksTraining may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinicFloat to various clinics during and after your trainingYou must be open to a flexible Full-Time variable/rotating schedule working 3–4 days/week, 10-12-and/or-14-hour shifts (alternating Saturdays) - Sunday's off!Flexible/open availability is requiredComfortable working up to 15 hours per shiftEarly morning 4:30 / 5 AM availability is requiredSeasonal, Part Time, Short Term or Per Diem schedules are not availableKey Responsibilities:Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis careMonitor patients before, during, and after treatmentSet up and maintain dialysis equipmentRecord vital signs and patient dataEducate patients on treatment and kidney healthCollaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team membersRequirements:Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalentComfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipmentPhysically able to work long shifts on your feetFlexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysDesire to work in a fast paced, high-energy clinicEnjoys working as a teamComputer/Technology/Mathematically ProficientPreferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experienceWhat We Offer:Paid training with ongoing education and career pathsFull benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time offFamily support: backup child/elder care, Headspace, EAP, parental leaveCareer development Programs: Clinical Ladders, Bridge to Your Dreams RN programStart your healthcare career with DaVita—apply now!
