Clinical Research Coordinator IThe Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I to assist on multiple human subject research studies. Familiarity with IRB protocols, compliance regulations and progress reports is preferred.Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Recruits research subjects and conducts interviews and research assessments. Essential Functions The Research Program Coordinator position requires familiarity with emergency medicine research and IRB protocols and attention to detail. Candidate must be comfortable implementing protocols for human, lab-based studies, assisting with participant recruitment, scheduling participants, and participant communication. This position requires flexible shifts including, days, evenings, and weekend shifts. Physical Effort Moderate physical activity. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and assist participants as outlined in the research protocols including standing for extended periods of time.
