APP (NP or PA) – Family Medicine Employment Status: Full Time | Shift: Day | Facility: 901 Plantation Rd – Blacksburg, VA, United States of America | Requisition Number: R156938 Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, and provide patient care, including performing examinations and compiling documentation. Review patient reports and make appropriate recommendations, including medication refills. Collaborate with physicians and other health‑care providers to deliver primary health care services. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current state licensed NP (LNP), DEA license, RN license, and AHA BLS‑HCP certification; Advanced Life Support certification preferred. Eligible for prescriptive authority under state regulations and authorization by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other health‑care providers. Strong written and oral communication skills.
