USD Work Hours: 8am- 5pm Location: Portland- In office We are looking for an experienced Property Accountant to join our clients team in Portland, OR. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing real estate portfolio while working in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in property accounting, financial reporting, and managing accounts for multiple properties. Below are more details. Responsibilities Manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of properties, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Handle tenant rent and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) billing, including the calculation and reconciliation of charges. Work with property management teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting for each property. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of property accounting experience, preferably in commercial or residential real estate. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar property management software). Strong knowledge of GAAP and property accounting principles.
