Business Solutions Developer

OUTFRONT moves fast — and we're looking for a builder who thrives in a high-velocity environment. As a Business Solutions Developer, you'll identify broken, manual processes and turn them into automated, intelligent solutions running in production. You'll work across the business to identify high-impact opportunities, choose the right tool for the job — whether that's Power Platform, AWS, AI agents, or another part of our stack — and deliver solutions in days and weeks, not months. This is a hands-on delivery role where your work will directly improve how OUTFRONT operates.

You will help determine whether low-code solutions, AI agents, or broader technology stacks should be applied to solve problems. We intentionally avoid complex custom applications that require months to deliver; the solutions we ship should be measured in days and weeks. Low-code solutions may leverage the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. AI-assisted development tools and agent platforms may also be used where they provide clear productivity gains. AWS services such as App Studio, Step Functions, and Bedrock/AgentCore are additional platforms you can leverage.

In all cases your goal is to rapidly deliver solutions for our business and determine which toolset will accomplish positive outcomes. You use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and consider AI agent creation for productivity gains.

Through these efforts, you will contribute directly to our enterprise automation strategy, enabling faster execution and empowering business teams with intuitive, intelligent, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapid Solution Delivery: Design and deploy end-to-end automations that replace manual processes, using the most efficient tool available.
• AI Integration: Build and support AI-assisted automations, including agent-based workflows where appropriate.
• Connectivity: Manage integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, SSO, and OAuth authentication models.
• Solution Development: Develop end-to-end business solutions spanning application development, workflow automation, and data integration — leveraging low-code platforms, cloud services, and custom code as the situation demands.
• Collaborate with business sponsors, administrators, and other stakeholders to qualify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Evaluate and select the appropriate automation or AI platform based on speed, maintainability and business impact.
• Leverage DevOps tools and processes, contribute to automation ALM standards, and ensure compliance with OUTFRONT security and governance policies.
• Apply deployment strategies such as packaging, importing, exporting, and versioning for released applications.
• Platform Reliability: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across deployed solutions, ensuring optimal performance and a consistent experience for business users.
• Quality & Testing: Define and execute testing strategies — including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing — to ensure solutions are stable, reliable, and ready for production.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear technical documentation for all solutions and actively share knowledge with teammates and business stakeholders to reduce dependency on any single person.
• Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging capabilities across Power Platform, AWS AI services, and agentic frameworks — and bring new ideas to the team on how we can move faster and smarter.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years as a hands-on developer with a strong foundation in full-stack or backend development, with demonstrated delivery of production solutions. Comfortable using low-code and AI-assisted development tools to increase speed while maintaining quality.
• Practical experience with AWS services in production environments (e.g., App Studio, Step Functions, Bedrock/AgentCore), or strong AWS development experience with a clear interest in growing into these services.
• Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON to integrate disparate systems.
• Proficiency querying and connecting data sources such as SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS RDS, and S3.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate multiple technology options and select the right tool for the job — knowing when not to build is as important as knowing how.
• Experience translating loosely defined business problems into working production solutions.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent — or a strong portfolio of delivered solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse (if you don't know it, you'll learn it)
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and LLM-based workflows as part of broader automation solutions.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.

For New York and New Jersey, the salary range for this role is $125,000-$145,000 per year. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate's experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
