Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a 16-week assignment at an academic teaching hospital, requiring Philips MRI experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Imaging department within an academic teaching hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every week
• No call requirements
• Philips MRI equipment used
• Epic EMR in use

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT or ARMRIT with MR advanced licensure required
• Philips MRI experience required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• At least two professional references from a Manager or Supervisor (one within the past 6 months, one within the past year) required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is preferred, but first-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates are accepted
• Pay rate is tiered based on distance from the facility: travel rate applies for candidates living 101+ miles away, a radius rate applies for 51–100 miles, and a local rate applies for those within 50 miles
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
• No block scheduling is available
• Employment gaps of more than 90 days must be explained on your work history
• Complete work history is required, including bed count, EMR, and facility type
