Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Collaborate with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical procedures is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification is mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
