About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 42-week school-based contract opportunity in Federal Way, Washington . In this role, you will evaluate and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with educators and families to support academic and developmental success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License required.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
