Make a meaningful impact by supporting young learners develop vital communication skills and confidence in a dynamic daycare setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for helping students thrive. The position is based onsite and offers the chance to work closely with a caseload of approximately 36-40 students, fostering significant growth and progress throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), or eligibility
- Solid understanding of supporting school-aged populations, particularly early childhood or daycare settings
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to accurate documentation and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions for a preschool caseload
- Collaborate with staff, families, and educators to tailor support strategies
- Maintain thorough records and track student progress in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Educate families and caregivers on communication strategies that reinforce therapy goals at home
