Manager, Store Communications & Signage Strategy

Job Overview The Store Presentation and Innovation Manager supports the Sr. Manager of Store Development and Innovation, leading merchandising projects from conception to completion. The role coordinates cross‑functional teams, manages budgets, and ensures projects are executed efficiently and on schedule, enhancing the customer experience through in‑store graphics, messaging, and wayfinding. Responsibilities Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with the company’s brand and objectives. Collaborate with retail buyers and merchandising teams to plan and execute in‑store projects. Lead design, production, and installation of in‑store graphics and communication programs, ensuring brand consistency. Manage end‑to‑end lifecycle of in‑store graphics, including concepting, vendor coordination, proofing, production, distribution, and installation. Partner with marketing, merchandising, and creative teams to translate category messaging and seasonal campaigns into the physical environment. Establish and maintain standards, guidelines, and toolkits for in‑store communications and graphics. Coordinate with external vendors, print partners, and fabrication teams for timely delivery of fixtures, graphics, and materials. Evaluate and optimize graphics placement, messaging clarity, and campaign effectiveness. Incorporate wayfinding, educational messaging, and experiential visual elements to enhance customer engagement. Manage project lifecycle: planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Conduct store visits to assess display and graphics compliance with brand standards. Analyze project performance and recommend continuous improvements. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in visual merchandising and store communications. Communicate project updates, timelines, and milestones to stakeholders and management. Assist Field Merchandising Project Manager with new stores, remodels, and refreshes. Provide feedback and approval for displays, graphics, and fixtures with the Merchant Team. Support consistent in‑store environment through cohesive merchandising and communication standards. Work collaboratively with cross‑functional partners to ensure business strategies are effectively communicated in all in‑store tools. Oversee capital projects, ensuring they are completed on budget and schedule. Qualifications 5+ years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment. Proven experience in visual merchandising, retail project management, in‑store communications, or related field. Strong understanding of graphic production, materials, print methods, and environmental applications. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a focus on customer service. Self‑starter with a high sense of urgency and ability to work independently. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and follows through on projects. Adaptable and able to prioritize and resolve problems autonomously. Ability to collaborate and influence cross‑functionally. Experience working with third‑party vendors. Strategic thinker capable of forecasting business needs and developing comprehensive solutions. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, and the Internet. Photoshop or Adobe knowledge is a plus but not required. Strong sense of design, color, typography, and visual hierarchy. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Monday–Friday onsite at the Roswell, GA Store Support Center. Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods; desk height adjustable.
