Business Analyst Intern

Support the Credit & Collections tower within the Business Transformation team Gather, document, and organize business requirements for Credit & Collections processes and system capabilities Support requirements and design workshops by preparing materials and capturing notes, decisions, and action items Document current-state and proposed future-state processes and maintain requirements traceability Compile and summarize data for analysis, decision-making, and status reporting Coordinate with business subject-matter experts, functional consultants, and other towers to clarify open questions Support testing activities by documenting test scenarios and tracking results Build business analysis and utility-industry domain knowledge during a large-scale enterprise transformation Requirements Current student, Sophomore or higher Enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Project Management Minimal travel for this role (10-15%) Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) and part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week) Able to commute to the designated work location in-person, per the hybrid work policy Coursework or projects involving business process analysis, requirements gathering, or data analysis Interest in the energy / utility industry or large-scale technology transformation Familiarity with process mapping, flowcharting, or business analysis concepts Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or other collaboration tools Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to organize information, manage multiple tasks, and follow through in a fast-paced team environment Core Competencies Demonstrates strong capabilities in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and data analysis, with a focus on the energy and utility industry. Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office tools and collaboration platforms to support project activities and documentation.
