The venue is known for its extensive dining and craft libations program, led by Chef/Partner Neal Fraser, whose celebrated culinary expertise shapes a distinctive guest experience. Vibiana combines historic architecture with modern amenities, creating a unique environment for both clients and staff. Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Vibiana in Los Angeles, CA. This role oversees day-to-day venue operations, including event preparation, room setups, equipment coordination, and support of culinary and beverage teams to ensure seamless execution. The Operations Manager leads and schedules operations and support staff, coordinates with event managers and vendors, and monitors facility readiness, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance. Responsibilities include managing inventory of rental equipment and supplies, supporting logistics for multiple events, monitoring service standards, and assisting with on-the-ground problem-solving during functions. The role also contributes to operational process improvements, cost controls, and adherence to local regulations and venue policies. Qualifications Experience in event or hospitality operations management, with the ability to oversee venue setup, logistics, and day‑of execution. Strong people leadership skills, including team scheduling, supervision, coaching, and fostering a collaborative, respectful work environment. Proficiency in operational planning, time management, and multitasking across multiple events and priorities. Comfort with basic budgeting, cost control, and vendor coordination to support efficient and profitable operations. Knowledge of safety, cleanliness, and facility standards; ability to partner with maintenance and technical teams on venue readiness. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules. Previous experience in a high-end event venue, hotel, or restaurant environment is highly beneficial.
