\n \nWe are currently searching for a direct hire Property Manager for a 500 unit apartment community in Huntingdon Valley, PA! If you are a Property Manager looking to take the next step in your career, apply now!
\n \nEssential Job Functions:
\n \n- \n
- Leads, coaches, and evaluates property associates’ performance, including the completion of annual performance reviews \n
- Assumes primary responsibility for preliminary interviewing and selection of the property associates \n
- Achieves financial solvency through cost reduction and implementing systems to achieve 0% rent delinquency \n
- Participates in the preparation of the annual operating budget and maintains budgetary guidelines \n
- Develops and utilizes sound rent collection procedures, including following up with delinquent accounts \n
- Monitors landlord-tenant relations and mediates disputes when necessary \n
- Provides excellent customer service and follow through to residents \n
- Develops marketing plan to drive traffic to the community and ensure occupancy meets minimum standards \n
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
\n \n- \n
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Community Manager \n
- Experience with Yardi preferred \n
- Prior supervisory experience in a management position, which includes annual budget processing, accounting, and interviewing/selection/disciplinary action of employees \n
- Ability to lead staff to meet job duties and expectations \n
- Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in a professional manner when dealing with employees and company contacts \n
- Adequate computer skills to perform essential functions listed above \n
- Basic accounting/financial record keeping knowledge \n
