seoClarity is seeking a technically curious and AI-driven Associate Product Manager, AI Platforms (Chicago-based) to join our growing Product team in our downtown Chicago office. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and is excited by the opportunity to help shape how enterprise organizations interact with AI assistants, large language models (LLMs), and emerging agent-based technologies.

In this role, you'll help build and evolve the APIs, MCP servers, and intelligent data experiences that connect enterprise search and marketing intelligence directly to AI-powered applications. You'll work alongside Product leadership to improve how AI systems retrieve, understand, and deliver real-time business insights.

Associate Product Manager, AI Platforms (Chicago-based) Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or   another related technical discipline.  
  
• 1+ years of professional, research, or project-based experience working with software products, APIs, data systems, AI applications, or technical product initiatives.  
  
• Hands-on experience building,   maintaining, or   optimizing   MCP servers and understanding how they interact with AI assistants, large language models (LLMs), APIs, and external data sources.  
  
• Experience designing, building, integrating, or enhancing APIs, with a strong understanding of how data is exchanged, consumed, and   optimized   across systems.  
  
• Working knowledge of   Python, Java, and SQL to analyze databases, troubleshoot APIs, and understand our backend architecture.  
  
• Ability to own technical projects independently, initiatives, or product enhancements from concept through implementation, rather than contributing solely within large group projects or academic team assignments.  
  
• Demonstrated experience   identifying   technical challenges, proposing solutions, and executing improvements with limited direction or oversight.  
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex workflows, system behavior, customer usage patterns, and technical performance issues.  
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly, recommendations, requirements, and technical concepts.  
  
• Demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), agent frameworks, MCP protocols, automation, APIs, and emerging technologies.  
  
• Comfortable operating within a fast-moving environment where priorities, technologies, responsibilities, and product requirements may evolve quickly.

Associate Product Manager, AI Platforms (Chicago-based) Responsibilities

• Support the continued development of our AI connectivity layer, MCP servers, conversational data experiences, and future AI initiatives.  
  
• Translate technical capabilities into customer-facing value, write product requirements (PRDs), and collaborate with go-to-market teams.  
  
• Assist   in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing product requirements, user feedback, feature requests, and enhancement opportunities while partnering with Product leadership to shape product direction and roadmap initiatives.  
  
• Develop a strong understanding of customer needs, business   objectives, and market trends while building the skills necessary to grow into a Product Manager role over time.  
  
• Analyze how customers interact with AI-powered products by reviewing usage patterns, prompts, responses, workflows, logs, and system behavior.  
  
• Identify   opportunities to improve product usability, performance, efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.  
  
• Partner closely with Product leadership to investigate product challenges, define solutions, prioritize enhancements, and contribute to execution efforts.  
  
• Help   optimize   how enterprise data is delivered, structured, and consumed across AI assistants, conversational interfaces, and intelligent workflows.  
  
• Work with APIs, databases, and technical systems to understand product performance better, customer behavior, and product opportunities.  
  
• Assist   with testing, validation, product documentation, and release activities to ensure a high-quality user experience.  
  
• Research emerging AI technologies, MCP protocols, agent frameworks, LLM capabilities, and evolving industry best practices.  
  
• Contribute to a highly collaborative product environment where experimentation, innovation, and continuous improvement are encouraged.  
  
• Take ownership of meaningful product initiatives while receiving mentorship, coaching, and exposure to product strategy, customer feedback, and technical decision-making.  
  
• Support   a rapidly evolving product ecosystem where adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn are critical to success.
  

Associate Product Manager, AI Platforms (Chicago-based) Nice To Have

• Product Management, Technical Product Management, Product Ownership, or Product Strategy experience.    
  
• Experience building AI-powered applications, conversational interfaces, chatbot experiences, AI agents, or Agentic workflows.    
  
• Exposure to   JavaScript, front-end technologies, or modern web application development.    
  
• Experience working within a SaaS, AI, analytics, data platform, cloud, or enterprise software environment.
