RN PRN Tier II - Progressive Care Unit

Registered Nurse
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.
Follow established policies and procedures.
Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.
Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians. Applies Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional core values of quality; service; efficiency; integrity; safety; professionalism, teamwork, and compassion.
Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse). Current American Heart Association, (AHA) BLS CPR (Basic Life Support) Certification required. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 3 months of hire and Critical Care course within 6 months of hire.
