IT Support Specialist

Title: IT Support Specialist Type: Direct Hire Location: Onsite -Gilbert, AZ Pay: $65-75K Position Overview We are seeking a customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for end users across a growing organization. This role will be responsible for supporting hardware, software, mobile devices, and business applications while ensuring employees receive timely and effective technical assistance. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting technology issues, working directly with users, and helping maintain a reliable IT environment. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and business applications. Respond to IT support requests submitted by phone, email, or in person. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues. Install, configure, update, and maintain workstation hardware and software. Deploy and set up computers, monitors, printers, and related equipment. Maintain accurate hardware inventory and asset records. Support printers, copiers, fax machines, and multifunction devices. Assist with administration and support of company phone systems and mobile devices. Deliver user training and guidance on software, hardware, and technology best practices. Document troubleshooting efforts, resolutions, and completed work. Travel periodically to support multiple business locations as needed. Perform additional IT-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Associate degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years of experience in desktop support, technical support, help desk, or a similar IT environment. Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems. Experience supporting Apple iOS and Android devices. Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity troubleshooting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Preferred Qualifications CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical certification. Experience supporting construction, industrial, or field-based organizations. Familiarity with enterprise business applications and software deployment. Knowledge of IT asset management best practices. Experience supporting distributed or multi-site environments. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Viewpoint Vista or comparable ERP platforms. Knowledge of device imaging and endpoint deployment processes. Familiarity with VoIP phone systems and mobile device administration. Exposure to Microsoft 365 administration and end-user support. Experience documenting processes and creating user training materials.
