Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital located on Nantucket Island
• Care for a year-round population of 15,000+ residents, with up to 100,000 additional seasonal visitors annually
• 48 hours per week on a rotating shift schedule
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Primary source verification of license/certifications required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care within a small community hospital setting
• Shared housing provided at no cost
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
