Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) with holiday rotation and every other weekend required.

Job Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide care and therapy for patients in various areas of the hospital, including critical care and labor and delivery. The clinician must have the ability to float across all departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and assess patient conditions.
• Provide support for patients requiring critical care interventions.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and interpret results.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries, extubation, and tracheostomy care.
• Utilize various respiratory devices and techniques to deliver care effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license required at the time of start.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) must be in hand at the time of start.
• Experience working with Epic charting system is required.
