Marketing Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating Annual/Quarterly marketing plans and strategic marketing approach plans for the mobile and home industry's Acquisition & Base Marketing teams. You will help analyze performance across a variety of KPI metrics and competitive landscapes to uncover new opportunities and coordinate strategy for growth and revenue for Verizon. The ability to utilize tools such as Microsoft Powerpoint and Google Slides to coordinate a marketing strategy is a must. You will work closely with various teams cross-functionality across the Consumer Marketing & Base Marketing team coordinating strategy and marketing initiatives. You will also help create marketing strategies for key initiatives for C-level executives. This is a home-based position as a defined work location that is work from home.

We are looking for someone who can utilize experience and business knowledge to develop marketing plans as well as guide strategy & execution of critical marketing programs. Use broad industry perspective to interpret competitive information, draw intelligent conclusions, provide assessments at the strategic and tactical level, and formulate promo recommendations on proactive and/or reactive actions. Leverage data analytics to identify opportunities for driving growth and revenue for Verizon. Candidate must demonstrate a strong knowledge of the wireless marketplace. You believe that solid data should be behind every important decision. You are a numbers person but you also have a strategic mindset. You bring both a business perspective and an understanding of the marketplace-and not just theory and numbers. You have a knack for understanding and visualizing just the right way to share data and practical insights so people can understand. Most importantly, you can create actionable programs based on what you learn from the data.

Must-Have Skills (Most Important): Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience. Six or more years of relevant work experience. Utilize tools such as Microsoft Powerpoint and Google Slides to coordinate a marketing strategy Experience gathering, organizing, and analyzing large amounts of information. Experience presenting ideas and content to a variety of stakeholders. Experience working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.

Desired Skills: A Masters degree, preferably an MBA. Experience in marketing and finance-related roles, such as market research, financial analysis, pricing, product marketing, or strategic planning desired. Experience in the wireless or telecommunications industry. Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to see things not readily apparent to others and to find unique solutions to complex challenges. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly express complex ideas. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Slides. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work with minimal supervision, and independently manage concurrent projects to timely completion. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to "see the big picture". Strong business acumen and ability to provide strong insights required to build business cases for offer approval.
