Field Technician

Provide hands-on field support and analytics to account managers and customers. Day-to-day will consist of driving to and from the field for our customers. While in the field, you will gather water samples from well heads and batteries. While on location you will be gathering chemical inventories, checking rates, adjusting rates, and fixing chemical pumps. You will also be delivering chemicals to location. You must perform a daily report on the computer.

Essential functions include collecting critical customer information to improve customer product and supplier relationships, properly collecting and distributing field samples, routinely collecting oilfield samples and conducting various water analysis, accurately reading and documenting data for account managers, properly maintaining, operating, and repairing all company equipment required for performing job duties, providing excellent customer service skills with all customers and field office personnel, maintaining the highest level of safety at all times, and working well independently and in a team atmosphere.

Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years' previous oilfield experience operating and maintaining high-pressure wells, forklift certification preferred, class B CDL with current medical certificate, hazmat, tanker, and airbrake endorsements a plus, and a valid driver's license.

Skills and abilities include basic computer skills, efficient navigation of a web browser, following online instructions, typing and using a mouse, customer service skills, meeting internal and external commitments, responding promptly to customer needs, and soliciting customer feedback to improve service. Work ethic includes being dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace, displaying a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, following instructions, and taking responsibility for own actions. Physical abilities include lifting and carrying 50 pounds in various packaging, tipping and moving 55 gallon drums weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of a drum dolly.

Work environment includes indoors and outdoors with driving involved, working in temperature extremes, lifting and carrying 100 pounds, manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful, and use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S monitor as required or needed.
