Position: PreK Teacher, Preschool Assistant, full time/Part time
Location: Little Steps STEAM Preschool Fremont CA 94536
Hiring for multiple positions
Qualifications: Passion and patience to work with small children, strong verbal and communication skills, solid understanding of childhood development and appropriate practices willing to work with toddlers (ages 18 months to 3 years) and Preschool kids (3 - 5 years)
Preschool Teacher responsibilities:
- Qualified, experienced, and compassionate Preschool Teacher to prepare children for their life, by easing them into organized education.
- Prepare lesson plans and implement curriculum for children 3-5 years
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
- Employ a variety of educational techniques to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their cognitive/creative ability, social competencies and build self-esteem
Preschool Teacher Assistant responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher with providing the children a “prepared environment”
- Prepare classroom activities and curriculum according to the teacher’s direction
- Keep the classroom clean and inviting
- Assist with individual and/or group activities to stimulate growth of the children in social, emotional and academic areas
- Supervise classroom as directed by the teacher
- Assist in the supervision of the playground and lunchtime.
- Assist during snack time and in keeping the classroom clean
- Support children hygiene (diapering and toilet-training)
Prerequisite:
- Fingerprints clearance
- Medical and TB clearance
Prior experience working with children required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
