Housekeeper Position At Silverado Franklin Historic Hotel & Gaming ComplexThe Silverado Franklin Historic Hotel & Gaming Complex is seeking smiling faces to join our Housekeeping team at the Franklin Hotel. The Franklin Hotel is a historic 68 room hotel at the top of Main Street in historic Deadwood, SD.As a Housekeeper, you will perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain the hotel in a clean and orderly manner. Some of the main duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning room and halls, vacuuming, and inspecting rooms. Duties may also include cleaning and folding laundry using a washing machine, drier, and cleaning agents.We are looking for employees with great customer service skills and a drive to ensure a memorable experience for our customers.The Silverado-Franklin Historic Hotel & Gaming Complex offers competitive wages, excellent benefits, paid vacations, 401k, and opportunities for advancement.Some duties include:Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled cartsEmpty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areasReplenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom itemsKeep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidyDust and polish furniture and equipmentClean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooersWash walls, floor molding, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessaryClean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegeesHang draperies and dust window blindsFollow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specificationsNotify managers concerning the need for major or minor repairs8AM to 3PM
