$19.37 - $28.09 per hour, depending on experience Job Responsibilities Essential Functions:
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms for assigned patients to identify abnormalities and support timely clinical intervention
- Communicate rhythm changes and patient status, using established escalation protocols, to nursing and clinical care teams to promote patient safety
- Utilize cardiac monitoring systems and related technology to accurately track, interpret, and document patient telemetry data
- Maintain sustained attention and accuracy while monitoring multiple patients in a fast-paced, 24/7 hospital environment
- Document monitoring activities in accordance with organizational standards, clinical guidelines, and privacy requirements
- Provide real-time clinical monitoring that directly supports patient safety, care continuity, and quality outcomes across inpatient units
- Exercise judgment within defined role parameters and escalation guidelines to support rapid clinical decision-making
- Work under general supervision with accountability for accurate, timely monitoring and communication that impacts immediate patient care workflows
- Safeguard protected health information by adhering to HIPAA, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies at all times
- Complete required training, competency validation, and system education within established timelines to maintain clinical readiness
- Maintain knowledge of telemetry monitoring standards, procedures, and technologies applicable to hospital-based care
- Safeguard sensitive data by following established security policies and procedures, using systems responsibly, and promptly reporting potential security incidents, risks, or policy violations
- As applicable to your role, support cybersecurity and data protection requirements throughout the supplier lifecycle by coordinating vendor risk assessments, monitoring third-party compliance, and promptly reporting identified supply chain or cybersecurity risks

- Execute responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
- Perform additional responsibilities as required to meet department and organizational needs
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Up to 1 year of healthcare experience working in the healthcare industry in any job function
- Up to 1 year of technical/systems experience using specialized tools, software, or equipment required for the role
- Up to 1 year of customer/patient-facing experience directly interacting and communicating with the public
