Job Description

Armada Staffing Group is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Billing Clerk Position to join our team in Columbus, Oh.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to assist with daily billing and administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to accurately process invoices and billing information.
Pay Rate: $18 -22 /H Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday / 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or related administrative experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, distribution, or job-shop experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with customer purchase orders and shipping documentation preferred.
• Experience with an ERP/MRP or accounting system preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Most Past Drug Screening and Background Check.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue customer invoices based on customer purchase orders, sales orders, job orders, and completed shipments.
• Review completed jobs and shipping documentation to ensure all billable items are invoiced.
• Verify customer-specific pricing, payment terms, freight charges, minimum charges, and other billing requirements.
• Ensure invoices are issued in accordance with customer requirements and company procedures.
• Process recurring, progress, partial, and final invoices when applicable.
• Prepare credit memos, debit memos, and invoice adjustments as authorized.
• Maintain accurate customer billing records.
