Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Dining Room Server to join our team at Colliers Assisted Living, a leading assisted living facility committed to providing a nurturing and respectful environment for our residents. The Server will play a crucial role in enhancing our residents' dining experience, ensuring that mealtime is not just a necessity, but an enjoyable and social event.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve meals and beverages to residents, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are observed.
- Assist residents in making meal choices, taking into consideration their individual needs and tastes.
- Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals, maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery and communicate residents’ needs effectively.
- Provide friendly and attentive service, fostering a warm atmosphere during mealtime.
- Monitor residents' food intake and report any concerns regarding nutrition or dietary needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with special events and social gatherings as directed, including theme nights or holiday celebrations.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and cleanliness protocols.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to serving in an assisted living environment.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Must be able to pass a level 2 background check through

- Previous experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with seniors.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with staff and residents.
- Knowledge of dietary needs and food safety practices is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to [insert weight] pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
