Who You Are Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company offers a position for a Price Cost Analyst Staff member to provide direct support to multiple programs across the business. The analyst will develop supplier capture strategy and ensure effective material integration. What You Will Be Doing Develop complex supplier proposals within the Aeronautics division. Review supplier proposals, cost and pricing data, and other factors provided by suppliers in support of their proposals. Work on commercial items determination, market research and analysis. Confer with suppliers and analyze operations to determine factors that affect price; prepare reports and charts presenting findings. Negotiate standard and non‑standard contracts with suppliers. Maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution by both parties. Provide final contract negotiation documents consistent with agreements. Plan and participate in training of Price/Cost Analysis practices and negotiation techniques with company personnel. Mentor less experienced analysts in the group as a staff‑level analyst. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s from an accredited college or university. Experience in at least two of the following areas: Commercial Items / Commercial Item Determination Market Research & Analysis Negotiations Data Analysis Financial Analysis & Forecasting Statistics / Mathematics Procurement / Supply Chain Management Cost Analysis / Price Analysis Desired Skills Experience analyzing and negotiating government contracts, FAR requirements, and CAS. Experience in cost analysis and evaluation techniques used in assessing supplier proposals. Experience communicating departmental and program messages to Lockheed Martin personnel and to the customer. Experience operating in a fast‑paced environment. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level: Secret.
