Civil/Structural Engineer

Civil/Structural Engineer

We are looking for a degreed Civil/Structural engineer skilled in building inspection, and design and development who is interested in working for a firm in the building inspections/design and development business. We are offering competitive salary plus commission, 401k and profit sharing along with a flexible work schedule.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct engineering analysis and prepare calculations and designs.
  • Perform forensic evaluations of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings to determine structural deficiencies.
  • Prepare structural deficiency/evaluation reports that clearly identify all the problems at hand.
  • Collaborate with our CAD department to prepare structural design details
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and be proactive about setting and meeting your work objectives and tasks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Possess and maintain an active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Knowledge of structural design and construction of reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, aluminum, and wood structures.
  • Knowledge of current building design codes and standards.
