System Design: Specify control system architectures. Virtualization: Specify virtual machine environment needs. Instrumentation: Select and specify field instrumentation and mounting specifications. Documentation: Maintain technical project documentation (P&IDs, loop sheets, FDS, schematics). Programming: Oversee control system programming, configuration and tuning. Commissioning & Support Testing: Lead FAT and SAT for new control systems and equipment. Construction: Walk construction packages, supervise construction activities and maintain safety. E&I Technical Expertise: Provide startup support and troubleshoot during installation. Training & Handoff: Handover systems to operations staff and provide ongoing support. Continuous Improvement: Analyze and upgrade existing process control systems for safety and efficiency. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related technical field. Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on experience in process control, automation engineering and project management in an industrial environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs/DCS/SCADA (Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell); understanding of field instrumentation, motor controls and industrial protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.); ability to read P&IDs and electrical drawings. Project Skills: Proven track record of managing contractors and subcontractors. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license. Experience with process safety management, safety instrumented systems (SIS) and relevant standards (ISA‑88, ISA‑95, IEC 61511). Experience integrating OT with IT networks. Work Environment & Physical Demands Work in office and production facilities, wearing required PPE. 50% travel to vendor sites or other company facilities.
