Production Supervisor - Manufacturing Operations

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProduction Supervisor – Manufacturing OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. This role is a true floor leader—you’ll be directly managing teams, solving real-time production issues, and pushing continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.What You’ll DoSupervise production teams, assign work, and manage daily staffing needsRun shift meetings to communicate KPIs, priorities, and production goalsCoach, train, and hold employees accountable for performanceExecute production schedules to meet on-time delivery targetsPartner with Engineering and Quality to resolve production issues quicklyEnforce adherence to work instructions, specs, and inspection standardsSupport root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA)Manage nonconforming material and ensure proper QMS documentationMaintain compliance with ISO 9001 and certified product requirements (ATEX, IECEx, UL/FM as applicable)Identify and implement improvements in workflow, productivity, and efficiencyTrack labor, output, downtime, and shift KPIsMaintain training matrices and workforce skill developmentRequired:High School Diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)3–5+ years of production leadership experience (Lead or Supervisor level)Experience executing production schedules in a manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsLean manufacturing tools (5S/6S, Kaizen, takt time, waste reductionERP/MRP systems and production softwareUnderstanding of ISO 9001, quality inspections, and nonconformance handlingNice to Have:Experience managing training matrices and certification programsExposure to ATEX / IECEx or certified product manufacturing\nCompany DescriptionLabor Solutions, LLC is a leader in the professional, temporary, and direct hire industry throughout the Midwest area.
