EXPERIENCE DEPTH: 4+ years of advanced, independent CNC programming experience using Mastercam, OR a formal technical degree/BSME paired with high-level Mastercam proficiency.

SOFTWARE FOCUS: Mastery of Mastercam for from-scratch multi-axis program development, 3D CAD data analysis, and database routing.

MANUFACTURING SKILLS: Advanced blueprint interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and custom jig/fixture design.

WORK SCHEDULE: Flexible 1st Shift (6:00, 7:00, or 8:00 AM starts) | Off-shift options available (+$1.00 to +$2.00/hr shift differentials).

EARNING POTENTIAL: Up to $45.00 per hour baseline starting rate (scaling directly with technical depth) + premium overtime eligibility + comprehensive corporate benefits.

LOCATION: Greater Duluth, MN / Superior, WI area (100% onsite manufacturing and engineering environment). COMPLIANCE: United States Citizens or Green Card holders only; corporate visa sponsorship is not available.

Rather than just adjusting offsets, you will own the full manufacturing lifecycle—developing highly complex, multi-axis programs from scratch, designing your own custom workholding fixtures, and collaborating directly with Design Engineering on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews. What You Will Be Doing

• Program Development: Developing, verifying, and optimizing complex, from-scratch CNC machine programs utilizing Mastercam for multi-axis milling and turning centers.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing engineering job orders, 3D CAD data, and industrial prints to establish the ideal sequence of operations, optimal speeds/feeds, and specialized tooling selection.
• Workholding Design: Designing custom shop jigs, specialized workholding, and manufacturing fixtures to maximize machine throughput and ensure 100% part quality compliance.
• Database Management: Maintaining and auditing the central CNC program and routing database, ensuring all digital product data is accurately categorized by machine type.
• Shop Floor Support: Partnering directly with production personnel to resolve real-time manufacturing roadblocks, troubleshooting complex setup, tooling, or macro code issues.
• Process Optimization: Leading Lean manufacturing initiatives, performing time studies, and identifying cycle-time or scrap reduction opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

• Advanced Machining Foundation: Strong background in tooling selection, material feeds/speeds, and multi-axis process development; direct exposure to 5-axis machining or Visual Basic programming is a major plus.
• Technical Print Literacy: Mastery of industrial blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and standard precision inspection tools.
• Diagnostic Instincts: Excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to resolve active machining errors and help mentor junior setup personnel on the floor.
• Employment Reliability: A rock-solid, stable work history demonstrating long-term career commitment and technical growth with previous organizations; frequent job-hopping is a disqualifier.
