This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret Help generate software design artifactsImplement Java-based software changesSupport design and code reviewsSupport software testing and resolution of issues arising from software testingBe involved in the presentation of developed designsActively participate in agile planning and execution using established program processesQualificationsGenerally has 1+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related disciplineActive Secret clearanceFull Life-Cycle Development Java application development / alternate OO development experience (additional experience with MATLAB is a plus)Unix/Linux Software implementation of mathematical algorithms Agile development DEVSECOPS Systems IntegrationBasic experience in design and devleopment of complex mathematical algorithmsExperience with problem-solving skills, including the ability to review system behavior issues, identify root cause and recommend a solutionThe successful candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to work independently, and be able to work in a highly dynamic environmentCandidate will need to be able to work with multiple disciplinary teams including Systems Engineering, Integration and Test, Deployment and Warfighter Support to help ensure mission successPreferred knowledge:Knowledge of developing software within an agile development process, decomposition of work, and active leadership during sprint planningExperience developing software and/or algorithms in a structured, process-based integrated team environmentKnowledge of developing software within a DEVSECOPS framework for Java-based applications in a Unix/Linux platform environmentExperience with development of automated unit tests and verification of requirementsCandidate may also be involved in the implementation of MATLAB or Python based algorithms prior to their adoption into tactical Java-based softwareSecurity+ certification is not required but a plus for this positionEssential Requirements:US Citizenship is required.In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed .
