Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic Helpers

Job Description:

LEAD Staffing is currently seeking experienced sheet metal mechanic helpers for projects in Lutz, Seffner, & Valrico. We have a project that is going to start May 18th and also have projects starting on June 1st.

Requirements:

• Sheet metal helpers are preferred to have experience in duct.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Basic understanding of tools and metalworking techniques
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding environments.

Responsibilities:

• Handling materials, using hand tools to cut/bend metal, assisting in installation on construction sites, maintaining tools, and cleaning work areas.
• Basic understanding of tools and metalworking techniques
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Keeps work areas clean, organized, and free of debris, adhering to all safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and other construction professionals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
