Step into an impactful opportunity supporting K-12 students as a speech-language pathologist for the upcoming school year. This full-time, in-person role will allow you to work with students across four school sites, providing vital services as part of an itinerant team. Scheduled to begin in August with the potential for orientation or training in July 2025, this position offers a rewarding way to make a difference every day while collaborating with talented SLPA and CF colleagues.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Hold or in the process of obtaining valid SLP licensure for the state of Virginia
• Experience or strong interest in K-12 educational settings
• Will consider Clinical Fellows (CFY) or those with SLPA backgrounds
• Ability to deliver services in-person; teletherapy experience a plus but not required
• Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites during the workweek
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative mindset for working within multidisciplinary teams

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students across four school buildings
• Participate in individual education plan (IEP) meetings, providing assessment-informed recommendations
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation in line with district and state requirements
• Liaise with educators, families, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
• Support and potentially mentor SLPA and CF staff members
• Adapt to various school environments while maintaining a consistent schedule (approx. 7:30am–3:00pm)
